There is no question that the 360 is the best online. Games like the new Metal Gear (which I got last night) are ruined online by the general lack of headsets by ps3 owners. It's a tactical game and you are dead silent.

I bought my ps3 simply for the blu-ray feature, but also for some exclusives...Metal Gear etc, but it really isn't worth it if you are looking for an online experiance.

I'm not so sure about that Wild Card! I'm no 360 expert, but surely there is nothing better than playing Call Of Duty online (PS3), 12 player death-matches, no lag-time and no subscription fee....

But then again, I could be completely wrong.....

Call Of Duty is a tactical game, unless everyone on the team has a bluetooth headset it becomes redundant compared to the 360 version.

Actually I'd say that without a headset COD 4 is merely awesome, with one it's maybe even better than crack, and a lot cheaper in the long run.

I recently had my PS2 stolen and the insurence company have given me the choice of an xbox360, a wii or a PS3 with a few games each. I was going to get the ps3 and sell some of the games to buy a wii as well, but gamestation will only give me £5 trade-in for each new game! I think i'lll go for a wii (despite the fact that its cheaper), because it has more games on it that i am likely to play.

I went with ps3 mainly for the blu ray. I also held out for the 80 rather then the 40. I had to threaten to make a store vanish if they didn't hold it for me as the 80 is a limited edition and the only place in the area that had some was a 2 hr trip. They got three in that morning and sold two in the first hour. The extra 100.00 for the 80 is well worth it for me and there was a principal involved. the 80 gig was actually put out first and it can play all the ps2 games. Then Sony decided that they could get rid of the 80 gig, only make the 40 gig, make it so you can't play the old games. The cost would be a lot cheaper for them, and they could reduce the price a fraction. In talking with Sony they freely admit that they decided that people who are really into gaming will want the ps3 games and not even bother with the ps2. And the ps3 80 bundle package with the new game was simply for a release of the new game and was designed as a limited series. ps3 80 are not being distributed anymore and to add to the lack of availability the employees are buying them up as the store gets them and then sells them on Ebay for 200.00 dollars more, minimum.

I am not a huge gammer but I love to kill stuff on the screen. So being able to purchase a ps2 game for 10.00 new and even less used versus 50.00 and 60.00 dollars quickly makes the initial extra 100.00 for the console worth it. Like I said I'm not a huge gamer, but I have several hundred dollars worth of games for the original x box
