Winter? That mean it would have been shunted on after The X-Factor. It would still be a 9pm slot...

Not if they are talking about News International though! Thankfully the world listened and didn't ignore them.

Couldnt agree more LOVED IT !!!

Quite Liked the Nick Einhorn one too - seen him live and he seems like a top guy (Also, his book was one of the very first I ever read as a "proper" magician like 7 years ago :D)
On a semi side note - does anyone know the name of the effect that they showed him doing in his promo with the multi coloured flight cases? (Its a nested boxes routine I'm sure, but I do it with 3 smaller cases and have been looking for large ones like that for AGES - Any help would be appreciated :D)

The show tonight was soooo much better.

Every act was absolutely brilliant. Really enjoyed Cubic and Nick.

Michael Vincent was as immaculate as ever!

Good to see Morgan and West through but I could have sworn I saw a deck switch too! :?

Great job there, Morgan and West! I thought there was a deck switch too behind Jonathan, but it was good to see Teller fooled like that

It's fascinating to see the layperson view of foolus - get on Twitter and search for #foolus during the show.

They all think they know how it's done, but some of the explanations suprise me - the theories they come up with are so simple sometimes that they make me wonder if people actually appreciate the work I put in to my routines.

The number of people who think that Penn's nailgun simply has 2 triggers, one for nails and the other for air is astonishing to me.

First because it's a much simpler explanation that the actual trick, but also they seriously seem to believe that they would allow someone to put a nailgun that close to their head, and a button would allow them to fire a nail into their skull in the case of the smallest error!

What a great show this week!

Cubic Act was as good as I remember it from Blackpool. Nick Einhorn had me completely baffled... although the more I think about, the more disappointed I'm getting (really hope I'm completely wrong) - Michael Vincent truly was a treat to watch - Morgan & West had me utterly convinced it was a switch... but must be true to their word, and now consider it a very clever routine indeed, which has definitely appeared to fool the #foolus community. Favorite tweet... "Why Dosent The Little Dude On #foolus Talk?!?!"

Very interesting point about public perception, and it's slightly depressing to read how quickly people write somebody off when they have "worked it out" (usually incorrectly).

The Victorian act was accompanied by a flurry of tweets - "deck switch!" then after they announced there was no switch - "hand signals!"

And that's it. Explained. NEXT!

Very little discussion on performance or presentation, just a puzzle to be solved. And with thousands of people on Twitter, it doesn't take long for one person to guess and everyone else to know about it.

I wish it was more about presentation now. Cubic should definitely go to Vegas. Who cares if they knew the mechanics. It was beautiful.
