Train wifi not good enough to download music!

I'll set the download away once I get to the hotel tonight and let you know later what I think! Thanks again for the recommendation. 8)

Heh, cool! Would love to hear what you think, so either nudge me here or through PM.

My weapon of choice if the 160GB iPod Classic, so I've got tons of stuff to compare to and recommend more :)

I don't do albums (aside from gaming ones, e.g. Super Meat Boy, Portal 2 which is free, Bully), and I get my music either as I like it, it's weird and unique, or for abusive purposes. So apologies for my top 5 list...

Jonathan Coulton - RE: Your Brains
Cage The Elephant - Ain't No Rest For The Wicked
Duck Sauce - Barbara Streisand
Braund Reynolds - Rocket (A Natural Gambler)
Chris Moyles - Waterproofs

And now for a random link of greatness...

I'm pretty much eclectic. Except for most pop music, I listen to everything.
On my Ipod you can find:
Bach: http://youtu.be/dNQ8bIgKjos
Vivaldi: http://youtu.be/ASSbHLQ3KGY (and notice that this two are not just your average versions)
Monteverdi: http://youtu.be/fVpEvPn-YDw

But also,
King's singers: http://youtu.be/TH2W7tSGuT0
Swingle singers: http://youtu.be/-uiG5jJavTU
CSN(Y): http://youtu.be/WGtFRsCXRcc
Beatles: http://youtu.be/mW6G3nh5S3I
Dire Straits: http://youtu.be/xo-J1wf2KHc
Iron and wine: http://youtu.be/5PIi0hIT4XQ

And Tangos
Very classic: http://youtu.be/hv5zI1mM6AY
Still classic: http://youtu.be/3C-zeTZY0-A
Electro Fusion: http://youtu.be/a95E60tEVE0
And a few definitely not so classic: http://youtu.be/zbUyvEcZHfY
http://youtu.be/Jxhc1yy7Mkc

And, for something completely different:
MC Frontalot: http://youtu.be/mtMAfGsKJUQ
NIN: http://youtu.be/mBMCvBsnQ4o
SOAD: http://youtu.be/466VHt8KldM
Black Sabbath: http://youtu.be/9LjbMVXj0F8

Plus Depeche Mode, Italian Hip Hop, Led Zeppelin, Eric Clapton, some classic blues, Classic Neapolitan songs...
Basically I have anything but Justin Bieber and Lady Gaga :)

It just gives me horrendous images of inarticulate, middle-American teens with badly applied eyeliner using their mum's camcorder to fumble through a "cap" in bottle effect they have just bought and then uploaded the sorry mess to You Tube. With some horrendous music playing over the top of it.

Poor thing..!

Also, Stephen: totally :D

In other news, although iTunes is usually horrible, it did have an album by an obscure Norwegian band I've been looking for for several years. Amazing album, as well; the band is Autopulver, well worth checking out.

Finally, for those who may have missed it: AIR have done a soundtrack for Melies' La Voyage Dans La Lune, and if anyone can get away with it, it's then. Album release on February 6; can't wait!

You can buy all of Gary Glitter's back catalogue on iTunes, try getting that in your local HMV!!! They do have some good stuff on there, I recommend "Yodelling The Classics" by Mary Schneider.

Heh, yeah... A lot of what I listen to often is on a "please contact the band directly and we'll send you one we copied ourselves" basis, so I never get my hopes up. :)

On the subject of E and hard metal, is Rob zombie hard metal? The E kids Freddy describes makes me think of bands like killswitch engage and avenged sevenfold.

Maybe I'm one of those horrible elitists but thats just not Metal to me, its posery nonsense which fits well with the E image too.

For the record though, I quite like Rob zombies music
