Having just seen this, I have to say that was a very good episode. At first it seemed like it was borrowing from Back to the Future (Three) with the whole letter thing, but it added enough to the pot to make it truly compelling. It's very nice the way they included the audience as well, and that's quite a cruel ending for the people watching :D.

On the recommendation of an old friend who happens to be a Whovian I settled down earleir this evening to give doctor who another go.
45 minutes later the credits roll and I am still very much unimpressed.

I just dont get what the fuss is and really wish I did

Saw 'The weeping angels' on BBC 3 last night, it was so good. At some points I did jump, which obviously shows the makings of a truely compelling episode.

Unfortunately however - I missed the last two mins due to a pain in the butt phone call, anyone know what happened after the girl spots the doctor through the DVD shop window????

I can't stop thinking about it. On the Dr Who Forum parents are reporting their little uns can't sleep!!

BTW if you missed the last couple of minutes I think it's repeated on BBC on Friday night..

Happy to help Anaryn - just highlight the following white text:

Sally rushes out, but the Doctor doesn't recognise her.

She realises that - due to the whole 'Timey-Wimey' nature of his travels, that none of the events that happened for her have happened for him yet. She gives the Doctor all of the DVD transcripts, the letter from her mate, various photos etc, and basically tells him to hang onto all the stuff, until he looses the Tardis in the 1920's.

There then follows a montage of various common-place statues, gargoyles and carvings, installing a deep-rooted fear of all such things into every viewer!

Hope this is of use!

Rob
