There probably would have been left handed ninja, but you are right, samurai were required to learn to use their swords in a very set way, so no lefthanded samurai. Could the same thing apply to magic since certain moves will only work right handed due to the design of the cards?

I just think it is that the fact 90% of the population are right handed hence that is just the way it is.

You shouldn't complain, my Gran was supposed to be left handed, but back when she was @ school, they forced her to write right handed (lefty's being sinister & all that) they litteraly tied her hand behind her back :x

Also an interesting point I saw some old (not sure when they were printed) but they had indeces(?SP) on all four corners, I suppose the stopped doing that to cut down on ink costs & decided that since more people are right handed they'd print only the left indeces

Actually Waddingtons cards have the indices in all four corners but they don't last five minutes.

You can find some cards for "cack handers" here :

:)
My mother also had her left hand tied behind her back at school etc.
Weird huh, same reasons given, left handedness is the devils work etc.

But I don't remember signing anything that says I sold my soul to the Devil. Unfair. :(
