having to wade through all the waste of space posts is a drag but i supose thats what you get from a popular site, sometimes i hanker for the old days when there were fewer more worldly wise patrons, still then i would not post for mionths for fear of embarasing myself so i hope we can hit a happy medium eventualy.

db and folks often get a bad rap for there use of shall we say sure fire methods but if anyone has any experience of tv they will be aware that filming is expensive and so one take shots are best, thats why alot of magic shows seem very similar.

Monday morning again!

I am finding it hard to gain any enthusiasm for anything.

I have a gig on thursday which I have this sinking feeling wont go well as I haven't performed properly in 6 weeks!

So, erm, yeah - a few weeks ago, probably a month now, my mum left my dad fairly out of the blue. Turns out she's been having an affair for the last year, and moved straight in with this other guy.

Also turns out that she had a 14-year affair with someone else, starting 20 years ago... that's just 2 years into the marriage and 2 years after I was born, before my brother and sister were born.

Ouch.

I'm terribly sorry to hear your bad news - must have been like getting hit upside the head with a cricket club.

It was difficult, but worse things happen at sea. I feel the worst for my Dad - at 22 I don't need a whole lot of mothering, even if it's nice sometimes! The thing is my mum and I have operated more like really good friends for a long time now, so it's more like I've lost one of my best friends (I know she's still around, but obviously I feel very differently towards her). But at the end of the day, I'm loving the career I've got lined up, I've got a great girlfriend and most importantly to me I've got a faith which keeps me strong and puts things into perspective. I've still got huge amounts to be thankful for

Keep strong matey, it must be a hell of a lot to contend with.
