kit looks nice.

Is the gimmick for the shoe meant to be 'orange' in places? My gimmick looks like it has been left out in the rain for a few days :? Im sure it still works but Im sure it is supposed to be completely silver!!??

I think that has to do with the welding nothing to worry about.

I.D I have put a post on the website stated on the instruction sheet look below the line "No need for viagra" I can't post it on here it's to revieling.

To those of you who are concerned about the shoe fitting. I have come up with a quick fit device all I need to do is make one and do some photo's . The device will work on any shoe and no damage to the shoe. Being a sparky has it's advantages in Magic

What KingJeaux posted before it was deleted makes it sound, well uncomfortable and awkward and completely noticeable to the specs.

Hmmm, I'm really in two minds about this now...

On a stage it would not be noticed, fitted correctly wearing the right trousers it would be hard to notice. It's hard to explain without revieling to much. If you want it for any shoe anytime with bad fitting yes a good chance of being found out. Any shoe right fitting and right clothing should not be a problem. I guess like a PK awkward at first not drawing attention to it your body language adapts to a PK, E.T when fitted is a new body language to get use to.

Lord freddie.

Spent all day playing with this now and I must say it is amazing. Completely concealed, silent as a mouse ( a slight hum when silent ), it works a dream.

Totally under you control.. cost £9 to get it installed at a shoe maker and 19p for something else that is useful.

You wont regret it

I saw the Man magicmonkey perform this live and in person. One of the best things I ve seen he had a trilby on a cig in his mouth standing next to a wall holding a deck of cards. And asking if they should stick to the wall or not.

I ve wanted one for ages. But havent got round to getting one.

I am master of misdirection, look over there.

We are not falling out young Welshy, we are debating, I think farlsy is an idiot he thinks I am one. We are just talking about who is the bigger idiot.

You're tempting me, dear chap!
You don't have some contraption attached to your finger. It worries me because I would use it at close quarters. Also, is there any danger to people you "do it on"?

Nope, there's nowt at all above the waist. You can perform topless if that's the kinda thing that floats your vessel. As for danger to your victims, it's been discussed a fair bit elsewhere and from what I've gathered you've got to be very unlucky to find someone who'll keel over from the shock. At its worst it's akin to a static shock from a radiator when you've been vigorously rubbing your nylon socks on the carpet. For whatever reason.

Thanks Bronz, I just heard elsewhere that (edit if exposure) that some godawful contraption went round your waist and up our arm to be attached to your finger which sounded rather silly.
You've cleared that up for me and I want one even more! Who modifies the shoes? Can someone like Timpsons do it?

Sorry to have confused you. I thought it was fairly obvious that my post was a spoof. I don't own ET, so I don't know how it works, but to me it makes sense that it wouldn't be a contraption travelling the span of your body and reliant on an accessory you need to plant on the spectator.

Well I thought it was funny anyway.

With magic you never know. I have shelled out good money for something that souonds wonderful and when it arrived it was the most impractical piece of kit you've ever seen.
ET is fairly expensive, so I want to make sure it's something that suits my performance before I buy it.

I went to a local key/shoe repair. £9 and they fitted the lot..

I had to give them the instructions to follow but even then, they didnt really understand and I did a few little demonstrations of what it does and their reaction were just like laymen. Of course, all they knew about was the housing in the shoe, I never mentioned nothing about how it hooks up to the body so they didnt understand what it was for.

Lord freddie you wont be dissapointed.. and buy it from magicproshop to save some valuable money!! you can even buy ET accessories for just $18!! :o

I took this to Leeds today and used it a little on some specs.. the meet will vouch that it is a useful bit of kit.

Just use it sparingly to add that little spark to an effect ( pun intended ) and it will enahance reactions.

We left Leeds yesterday with this couple viciously rubbing their hands together to create enough static to move the tabacco on the table

After seeing I.D with this yesterday i know I'm going to have to get one. I can just imagine the fun you can have with this in so many different ways. I can't think of one single item that would give so much to so many different effects/routines. Because of that little spark being a manifestation of the magic happening it can only enhance your performance.

As for that group of people I.D. left rubbing their hands together, well, it was so funny i felt guilty, ok, i didn't really feel guilty. They were a lovely bunch even if they were all related by blood and marriage at the same time
