Worry about exposure had been there throughout the history of magic, yet people can still perform the oldest of routines (cups and balls etc) and are able to entertain a lay audience.
Most people forget these things even if they bother to read them once.If they read them more than once then they have an interest in magic they want to pursue. Next time you watch a new magic dvd for the first time or read through a book once, how much do you actually remember?
For something to register you need to study it otherwise the mind consigns it to oblivion.
These kind of articles are nothing to worry about. Only those with a genuine interest will bother reading it.
