Mr lewis why dont you leave him alone he has contributed to magic in a significant way (how he chooses his life is franklynone of your bees wax). Now dont get me wrong i think he is a bit of a tool in his approach to most things (although hes a socialist and i can get with that).......at the end of the day in his position id stay his course and be a legend as opposed to a kind of warpped moody.

I must advise that I am on the side of this Sadowitz person and am advising him in his best interests. His fans here are actually doing him no favour by encouraging him to go on the woeful path that he is on. It doesn't work and never has worked. He has been doing this stuff for years. If it worked it would have worked long before now. It hasn't.

Time he did something else.

As for his "contributions" to magic I am not quite aware what they are. However even if they do exist they are more than balanced out by the harm he is doing to it by dragging the art into the gutter with filth. We are supposed to represent an ancient and honourable art and we should not taint it with disreputable vulgarity and profanity.

There may be a market for it just as there is a market for heroin. However just because there is a market for it does not make it right. It seems to appeal to the inarticulate and profane. No doubt his style appeals to the Scottish lower working classes of limited intellectual capability.

Some of us have more discriminating tastes I am afraid.

Gentlemen: A bit of editing was necessary to remove the less savoury stuff - if you want this thread to carry on, let's keep it civilised and as clean as possible please.

Mr Lewis, I'm not quite sure why you continue to add to this thread? Unless of course your intention in simply to provoke other people by introducing personal bias. I fear this thread has only a short way to run before the plug is sensibly pulled.

Hmm... and as for magic being an ancient an honourable art... well, yes, I suppose it can be... along with just about every other ancient and honourable art and profession one can think off. Magic should be, and is, strong enough to spawn and cope with many different offshoots, practices and performance styles. One style need not be compared and measured against another. Audiences differ. People who go and enjoy a night at Billy Smart's Circus aren't going to rush to buy tickets for the'Circus of Horrors'... and vice versa.

Oh, and your last withering comment about the 'Scottish lower working classes' was bang out of order on a forum like this and a good indication of why people shouldn't post at quarter to four in the morning I guess.
