Tell me about it. I take Saturday off (but sometimes work in the morning) and go to the pub for lunch, followed by a few drinks in a few bars, home with a fish supper and a few DVDs for the evening - even if I end up working all day Sunday and sometimes into early Monday morning. Why are copy deadlines usually Mondays?

Yup. I'm sat here watching The Big Bang Theory until Countdown comes on, writing a box out about the first computer worm, playing with a deck of cards and jotting down ideas to develop into pitches. And getting paid and potentially paid for it.

Well stop complaining you don't have time to come out and play on saturdays then

Well, I'm definitely out of this one. I've got two manuscripts that have to be finished in time for posting on Monday, and I've already used up half of today getting my router working properly again, so Saturday's going to be busy.

Glad to meet a few of you guys last night,wish i could of stayed out later,but due to family situations i wana be able to come again!!! lol,it was a good night,but after a few beers a few of my tricks went erm not as planned.so whats the saying???oh yes back to the drawing board!!! and make a un breakable failsafe routine lol

Yep, it was a good day. Lots of fun, names to faces, Calir's sensation CTW, another expulsion from a pub by a jobsworth! Good times.

Darn it, I always seem to miss the being-chucked-out-of-pubs days.

Finished one of the manuscripts by Sunday, anyway. I might finish the other in time to post it this afternoon... sigh.

Will probably bring a camera along next time, so if anyone wants to be filmed (and youtube'd if they want) gimme a shout (I can't promise top quality, but it'll certainly be similar quality to what you find on youtube)
