Left it far too late as usual but am printing out the PDF in hope that there is still time!

As for hotels, where is a close place to stay? I was looking at Premier Inn and it says it's 1.8 miles away from Blackpool Central, but I have no idea if the Winter Garden Complex is in Blackpool Central.

I was also looking at the Albany, and checked availability there but I'm waiting on a reply. I'll give them a call tomorrow.

And coach seems the cheapest option for me as I can't find any trains that are heading for Blackpool from London which is very strange.

From london you need to get to either leed or manchester picadilly and they have direct lines through to Blackpool

I'll be there. Staying at the Beverley. No idea what it's like but know it's within stumbling distance to the bars. I like beer.
I've promised a few people big wet kisses over the last year for giving me advice so pucker up people and if you find a short, drunk man throwing himself at you, that will be me.

Shanks your other option is a train to Preston from London which is a lot closer to Blackpool and there should be some advance ticketed cheapness to be had in getting there.

Just booked up the Beverly and posted the letter for the tickets. I'll wait until I get the tickets to book the train/coach, depending on how long I have to wait for them to get delivered, anybody know roughly how long it might take?

Looking forward to it now!

Oh and thank you Mark Waddington and Agecroft, I will try doing that instead.

I know that there are a few threads around regarding Blackpool 2009 but thought that I'd post in the original one!
This will be my first time at a convention. I have already emailed the organiser to see what happens with reserved seats etc and know that for lectures or shows, you generally turn up and take your place where you are in the queue. My question relates to convention convention! What, in terms of timescale, is the geeky, stand away 'cause the fan-boy is in teratory? My tickets were bought for me and my other half purely on the basis of one show at the convention. I'm going to enjoy everything else that is on offer too, I hope to meet some TM members (my avatar will be updated with a pic - don't say you weren't warned!) but I would like to be in a position to get really good seats for my own personal highlight of the weekend. Do I stand there like a (insert your own expletive) way before anyone else gets in line? When do people normally start queing for a similar type of show?
As I've said on many an occassion, and for many different reasons, if you can share your experience with me I'd be grateful!
Ian
