I'll probably be there form 1pm, but I have to leave early enough to catch a friend's band. I'll come down to the Lass but I won't be able to stay all evening.

Postby killaklownkris » Apr 12th, '09, 17:35

Oh yes i enjoyed that last night and already started to start new stuff for next time.I dont know what happened at kro 2 but sounded quite freaky and glad i missed it lmao. the lass was ok but magic wise didnt have many people to entertain i thought or didnt seem to be that interested.Mind you the food was very good and the bar staff are very polite and enjoy a good trick.we can thank rob for that gig, well done fella even though at the start of the night we had quite a atmosphere when some ignorant sod want to start trouble and i think rob was gonna swint for him so i was looking for the nearest and heavy object to throw!!! well all in all i cant wait to the next one.cheers rob and all cya soon

I forgot about that guy!

Sorry if I was a pain, it was simply that he was very rude and personal and there was no way I was going to back down to him. His mates realised that I was being reasonable while at the same time thinking that I could be a bit of a handful so they drank up and moved on.

I'm sure the Kro 2 incident can be swept under the carpet as well as I've no idea what was going on there but its water under the bridge as far as I'm concerned.

It was good to meet a couple of new faces and see some people down there for the evening slot.

It was a great day out all around, and who says its not worth doing this. I got a booking today from someone who saw me at the Lass in the March meet so a very happy chappy.

Catch you guys soon, next one is second saturday in April

And we didn't get thrown out of anywhere, either! Pity there was no one to perform to in the Lass before I had to leave, but those burgers were genuinely very nice indeed. There must have been a pound of fresh beef in each.

Mind you, the evening took a turn for the worst when I got to the gig I left to watch. I bumped into a bloke I used to know form my clubbing days. It turns out his wife, Ruth, died at Christmas.

Well actually Tomo

we were kicked out of one bar later in the evening, it was closing time mind and the bar had closed.

I didn't mind as I was way too drunk to be doing magic by that stage :)

 Does that mean there's been a public ejaculation every time I've attended?

...and if that doesn't get into innuendo bingo, I don't know what will?

You're just showing yourself to be needy there (carrying on the innuendo, of course)

Fo Shizzle!

We need to arrange what's actually going on for this at some point this week. I'll probably need to ditch a bag after work.

Should finish work at 5 or half past, then have a drink or 3 with work folk.
no doubt I can occupy myself til 7. Might be bringing my mate Simon along (non magicician, can be hypnotised very easily)
