Because I didn't agree to receive them.

I am glad you like getting their ads, but they are spam.

I think this may be the biggest discount ever offered by a UK magic website. I wonder if it will become a regular-ish thing. I do hope so.

No, tell a lie. I do believe I got a 30% discount from Magic Magic many moons ago. That was pretty tasty, let me tell you. :D

pedantry

:P

;)

:)

(smilies for anyone with a sense of humour failure)

PS I have opted out, I am dead pleased you all like getting their emails. I am a miserable old git that thinks people should gain permission before emailing me. I guess I over-react because I've worked so long in email I see what happens when you build honest trust with your audience and when you just spam them. One works better. A lot better. But yeah, if they only want to pay 47p for their hosting, I doubt email best practise is top of their list. :)

PPS Sorry for being snarky

Ah, Hocus Pocus! I keep forgetting to sign up to their newsletter. Yes, I've heard about their discounts. I am going to sign up right now. Cheers for the heads up.

I think we do try to discuss more important issues - just seems that every thread seems to get hi-jacked by more 'self-important' issues (which appear to be inane and unimportant!).

A discussion on a great discount offer degenerated into a spitting competition on what constitues Spam and who's got the most experience working in the industry. Hands up who'd have rather spent time discussing the tricks they actually were tempted to buy because of the offer.

Does this discount imply that all of us will be wearing a SA? I've ordered Decisions. I have been holding it off for some unclear reason, but now with the discount, I couldn't resist. Think of it as CUPS light..

Well, despite the problems that the site has exhibited, the SA wallet that I ordered on Monday afternoon turned up this morning.
