I could be wrong but I think that little sidebar sometimes gives the age. At least that is what I assume.

We are jealous of some things and not so jealous of others.

Old people are jealous of the energy and enthusiasm of youth plus most of all their good health. We are not jealous of their stupidity and foolishness. As the old saying goes, "youth is wasted on the young"

Barefoot Boy wrote:K what is it with you people in here? Is it a British thing? Since I've joined this forum 2 different people have decided to attack my performances here. Sure, everyone is entitled to their opinions, but both of these individuals jumped to conclusions and shot their mouths off without thinking first. Must be a British thing, cuz I've never noticed that on any OTHER forum.

Mark is correct. I DO know sleight of hand and can handle myself around a pack of playing cards. (Although I seldom admit it because I am a mentalist.)

I CAN perform real card tricks and I know many ace assemblies but simply did not perform those on that particular video. I CHOSE to perform McDonald's Aces. Mark is ALSO correct that the impact of THAT particular Ace Assembly can not be duplicated without the gaffed cards.

Methinks, perhaps, that you, Tommy Magic, might wish to delve a little more deeply into your sleight of hand books to reaquaint yourself with the 'real' sleights that I have used in the video.

OK - I was was a bit harsh with my feedback - I didn't meaan it as an attack! They say you should use the 's*** sandwich' approach for giving feedback if you want people not to take offence ie Say something good, say the s*** that they don't want to hear, and then finish with something good.
I didn't do that, and should have, so my apologies!
Here is a better go at it:
Your presentation of the McD's aces was smooth, and flowed nicely. I personally don't really like this effect as this effect is too unbelievable to be entertaining for me, but you have it down, and I'm sure that 99% of people who watch it will be very impressed.

Glad to hear that you can do some other good tricks and sleight of hand - I did assume that you had just learned the odd trick with cards as you said that you were a mentalist dabbling with cards, so apologies for jumping to said conclusion.
Quality couch by the way :)
