Major hangover. Self induced I know, I know.
Well, we now know that drinking a whole 70cl bottle of baileys is bad. Very very bad. Not to mention the vodka...
Today is a day for dark glasses I think 8)

Thank you. Now I may go and cry :D .
Ah well, I'm sure the number of brain cells I've dissolved will balance it out a bit.

Iv had a green and slimy saturday night. AT 3am a gang of thugs kicked down my door looking for a drug dealer! Luckily they ran off after realizing they had the wrong address

Wow lozey, sounds more like a brown and smelly moment there mate.
Same thing happened to a friend of mine, but they beat him with baseball bats put a hood over his head and drove him to some waste ground, where they said they were going to shoot him if he didn't admit to dealing in drugs.
He wouldn't admit to something he didn't do and they let him go, they would have shot him if he had said he did it.

it's usually the other way round...well done sargeant tomo...

ah green and slimey, an order i placed with a magic site have dissapointed me with their lack of communication..granted, only 18 quids worth of stuff, but i'd of appreciated an e-mail back...

the cr@ppy post office losing stuff again...its been nearly 3 weeks now, and still not resolved, apart from a "yes" we sent it from the site in question...

i've gone to my sorting office, i've rung and double checked...passed all the info onto the site, and nothing...waiting and waiting...

Abraxus, remember that by law the goods are still the shops responsability from the time you place your order until the moment they arrive on your door.

If something doesn't arrive for what ever reason, it's down to the shop to send a replacement. At least that's how I think it works.

My personal take as an online retailer is that once the goods are handed to the Royal Mail, the contract passes to them.

However, I am very trusting and lenient, and due to the amount of hassle I've had with the Post Office last year (not to mention the £3490+ spent with them) I usually take a view that the customer deserves their goods.

I think it's at the discretion of the company in question whether or not they re-ship.

i kinda agree with both of you actually...

the sorting office said "the onus is on the sender..." so a big fat "not my problem" from them...

but....and i've had a zilch response from Royal Mail on this, i have asked the question that if i send something, i put it in a postbox or go to the post office, i hand it over, you take it along with some money for doing so - and somehow, it gets LOST....where and how does it get lost? and by lost, do you mean some little sod fancies something for nothing?

but, as the company can claim it back (i had a very good service from magicshop.co.uk over a missing package) then...really...yeah, credit, or re-sent goods if im honest...i'd do the same if i were running a shop...

AND as i regularly spend my moolah at this shop too, i felt that they could of just rattled me off a quick e-mail...and ok, i can stand losing £18 quid at the end of the day, but, it was more the bad communication that got up my nose rather than some flash paper, and some zodiac cards and other bits n bobs...

ah...rant over....Post Office, if you're reading this - you are absolute merde...(hope swearing in french is passable...)....

you might well be right Seige, I was just repeating what I've heard.

The couple of times I've had things go missing in the post, the particular company in question have shipped out a replacement no questions asked. Brilliant service if you ask me, I'll always shop with them now, even though they're usually not the cheapest option, I know any problems will be resolved.
