Thanks for your concern Seige but I'd never have any dog and leave her in the house when I went to work. It's just not fair on the animal.

I'm talking to a collegue at the moment about going into business together, which would mean me working form home. We're really lucky that we've got miles of fields out the back from us so walking her wouldn't be a problem and me and Dave both love walking anyway.

Don't worry, I'm not even going to think about getting her until I'm at home during the day and can give her the love and attention that she'll need.

Please don't post pet pictures, it reminds me of my enourmous, green and slimey vet bill.

Speaking of pets my mate bought a hamster for the house there. A few days later we noticed something moving about the nest only to discover it had 8 babies . You wanna seen the state of us trying to look after them, we have enough problems looking after ourselves. :D

Can anybody please help me? I'm having terrible problems controlling my streetmagic- I can't walk down a street without turning into a pub.

wow baby hamsters, mine had babies too when I was a kid (even though the shop told us they were two males  )

how are you getting on? If it's the first 3 weeks, don't disturb them at all and that includes changing bedding. If you do, the mum could end up rejecting or worse, eating the little ones.

After just over a months, you'll want to get the sexed and split up.

sorry if you already know this, but I made a few mistakes to start with and ended up with about 3 out of a litter of about 10 surviving

Hamster birthing—that really IS green and slimey...

I was devastated as a kid when my hammies ate their babies. Orrible little buggers.

I know that feeling, I was in tears every time one of them disapeared

Speaking of which, it takes over a dozen mink to make a coat because their sowing is rubbish.

Is this the green and smiley thread?

The inside of a student fridge?

If you keep pans in a pantry, what do you keep in a country?

If quizzes are quizzical, what are tests?

Rotter that I am, I love psychologically forcing people to think of rude words...

Aye we were told as well that the hamster was male but when it started popping out pups we decided it was probably female.

All the baby hamsters are fine, they have been separated now and given away to good homes. They were actually quite easy to raise. The most annoying thing was probably all the girlfriends, sisters, mums, aunties etc coming over to play with all the babies. If I had a pound for everytime I heard "awww they're so cute"......

Can anybody please help me? I'm having terrible problems controlling my streetmagic- I can't walk down a street without turning into a pub.
