What you get out of Blackpool varies - exhaustion, elation, poverty, hangovers, eventually you get memories of two fantasic gala shows, dozens of lectures and demos - far too many to fit in usually - and certainly the determination that you'll be there next year as well.

Got my gold ticket & accomodation sorted today after coming to terms with not going my personal life has changed dramatically so I treated myself. My hotel is New Osterley Hotel, Adelaide Street round the corner from the Winter Gardens.

Hotel rooms close to the winter gardens are getting very limited so get booking if you havn't done so already. Can't wait!!
