Channel 4 just showed him again saying he was going to reveal how he did it on Friday night.

He then held up what looked like a star that'd sit on top of a Xmas tree. Like a large snowflake kinda thing.

Is he throwing us a curve ball or is that some kind of clue that ole Sherlock himself would be scratching his noodle over?

"Gay Magician Predicts UK Lotto Numbers": http://www.gaynz.com/articles/publish/3 ... e_7884.php

Apparently, it's Derren's favourite headline :D

Interesting 'solution' from some YouTuber:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rqAt2akPHJ8

I'm really torn on the whole 'Computer Effects' thing to be honest. The general consensus of Internet chatter seems to have settled on this being the method, but even though I am a geek I'd find it a little hard to swallow if this is the big reveal tomorrow night.

I'd honestly be more pleased with an empty studio and the use of a giant mirror.

(A highly polished mirror of course).

Well I thought the split screen idea at first knowing that computerised cameras are used in feature films all the time. I would say that having seen the camera operator from the second viewpoint that this would be ruled out.

My initial thought was the balls were shot up the tube which the balls were sat on (much like the actual lottery machine) this would be covered by the false backs of the balls which were on show.

I imagine it's neither of these & that we'll never find out the actual method. But thought i'd post it all the same.

What do we win anyway?

He is not going to reveal how it is done is he.

What he sais was he is going to reveal how it could have been done.

More to the point, what was with all the subliminal words flashing up in the top right of the main show.

that was him offering 'subliminal queues' to aid people in forgetting the show; there was a lot of end credit interviews with people stumbling to remember the content of the show.

"Not being rude......."? Your message sounds pretty rude to me.

Derren must know that the magic world would endeavour to work out the trick. I'm sure it's what he would do I'm sure. He'd probably be insulted if no-one was that bothered.

the thing is, this theory all hinges on the cameras being locked off. but since the wall gets closer, and slightly moves, it's obvious that it wasnt.

i will say this once again....

HE USED MISDIRECTION, AND YOU HAVE ALL BEEN MISDIRECTED. :)

He straightened the balls at the end... DELIBERATLY .

He walked sideways like a crab behind the balls DELIBERATLY

He introduced the second camera at the back DELIBERATLY

All to set the train of thought running.. Alas, on the wrong track :)

you're like Yoda.you dont say much, but what you do say is worth listening to....
