Well I don't think it's easy to work out at all. By the way I don't have this (yet). I did work it out, but that was after thinking long and hard etc. and I still don't think I could do it properly even though I know how it works (I think). Hence why I'm going to get the dvd anyway. When people say that it's "easy to work out" and they didn't have to get the dvd, it usually means that they were completely baffled when they saw it, and so were compelled to sit for hours, watching many different performances of the trick on the net. It's not easy to figure out, and I don't think you should worry about spectators "instantly" figuring it out. Remember they don't know what is coming, and once you've done it they can not watch it again, like you can on a video, they will simply see it for what you say it is and be completely baffled.

Hoped that answered your question, although I'm not the best person to be answering as I don't actually have the trick.

Okay...it really is good!!!!! It is better than good. All the features of a 'start-clean-end-clean' effect and very ingenious!

Couple of questions

Postby Sasu L » Feb 22nd, '06, 20:51

I ordered this Mastermind #1 DVD, and i hope it comes to me maybe in few days.

Can i learn this trick so easy than people say, no matter that I'm new? I mean, if i don't have yet that much of experience in finger tricks and stuff like that, can i still learn this easily? I'm ready to practise this many times.

And question for those who live in euro country, does this work good in euro coins? I hope someone who knows could sent me private message, and tell maybe which can and euro coin is best for this.

Sasu L... don't worry too much about the handling of the coin... it is very basic and straight forward..... even if you are all thumbs you should be able to do it.... just practice...
as far as coins go, the DVD will tell you what you need to know...
once you know how it is done, you will be able to determine which coins and cans work....

Okey, i try to not worry too much. It's only because that DVD was pretty expensive, so it would be sad if that trick would not work with euro coins at all.

I think my DVD comes in monday, so now I'm just waiting.

it is only easy to know how its done when you know exactly and imagine what is happening hence why some poeple say its easy to learn without the dvd. only because they know how its done lol. they probably have seen it a billion times too. Spectator only sees it once

Do it with whichever hand you feel comfortable with. I'm left handed but I hold the can in my left hand and slam the coin in with my right hand.
There's no right and wrong way - just whichever way feels best for you

I am right handed and slam the coin with the right hand...I think there is not set way. I tend to flip stuff around as it when it suits me.

size matters?

Postby callmecg » Mar 5th, '06, 18:28

Hello all, first time caller here. I an very interested in buying this trick but have a question about the coins that can be used. I am currently living in Taiwan and the coins range from penny size to lonney size(Canadian)Can this trick be done withcoins from any country and with larger sized coins?
And if I order from penguinmagic, how long would I expect to wait for delivery?

edit: Just read the viraer's post but would still like to know about larger coins.

I can't answer that 1 soz 'cos I rarely deal with Penguin, plus I don't know what their overseas delivery service is like.

The DVD recomends using a silver coloured coin - I'm sure that there will be at least 1 silver coin in most currencies that will be about the right size for this trick

You should, the handling is great and btw penguin magic delivers in a mx of a wekk i think, tthe price for shipping is 9 dollars for one item 11 for two and 2 for three. The figures are roughly correct.

I believe teh taiwan currency has a silver coin so it should be no problem for u buddy. and btw u dont need a silver coin, it can even be black, it is just safer to use a silver coin... sizes of cans differ, i know this as i live in Singapore, trust me u will have no problem finding the right match

I hope this was a help to you
