Blackpool Magicians Convention began processing all the Priority and VIP Gold Card Registrations this week and tickets will be sent out in the next 7 days by Arthur Casson, the Registration Officer. Only 80 VIP Registrations are still available due to unprecedented demand. A list of artistes booked will be released in the next 14 days but we can confirm that Saturday night will feature a new fun competition: the United Kingdom v The Rest of the World! (replacing the British Magical Championships). If you register before 31st December, 2007 and purchase a Gold Card Registration you will receive a £25.00 book called "Down A Magical Memory Lane" by Derek Lever. This contains the hilarious experiences of Derek's career in Clubland plus some of the exciting magic which he has produced and performed over the last 50 years. We also hear that there will be at least seven World Champions appearing at the Convention, which is on 22nd, 23rd, 24th February, 2008.
