Knowing what I do about the art of mentalism and doing quite a lot of research on Mr Brown, I now like to judge the show on the reactions of others who are watching the show at the same time.
"Garbage", all 3 of them said (thats my wife and two of our friends)
"Watching someone fall over after looking through a hole in a fence is hardly entertaining and quite embarassing, no matter what teqhnique is being used"
"Does he think we are idiots"
"He's running out of ideas is that fellow"
"I'd rather watch paint dry"
All quotes from my household on said night.
Now personally I think the man can do no wrong, but to laypeople I dont think the show was entertaining enough.
Seeing someone fall over is not entertaining unless you understand the background of whats just happened, which in my opinion the majority of people watching just will not.
I was actually hoping for it to be a trick, not treat, but maybe thats just my sadistic mind working overtime.
