 Yeah yeah yeah. It's just one of those things. Whenever you complain about something being hard to read, your comment has to be perfect, so I was expecting to slip up somewhere :) . Anyway I was commenting on bad grammar not spelling.

Tell me that post wasn't hard to read....

Read the forum rules. We dont answer to questions such as that and we certainly never ask questions such as that.

Okay, enough is enough. I give in to all these "demands" and I'm just gonna reveal how it's done then there will be no more questions like this one

Firstly, in answer to your question, yes the coin is put into the can after it's opened - here's how. The perfomer prepares the bottom of the can beforehand by making a small slit, just large enough to fit a coin through and then seals this slit with a special glue. This glue forms a watertight seal so the can may be turned back upright without spilling any liquid. When the performer reaches the part of the trick where he opens the can and pours it into a glass, he surreptitiously sneaks the coin in the opening in the bottom of the can that he previously made. He then reseals the slit and because of the nature of the glue, the slit is virtually undetectable. After all of the liquid has been poured into the glass, you're left with the coin in the can 8)

Secondly, you're probably wondering where the coin disappears to up to this point. Another fiendishly clever bit of trickery - you stick a piece of skin coloured, latex type material to the palm of your hand before the trick starts. Use a small square - the size of the latex should be just a little larger than the size of the coin being used and should be stuck to your hand along 3 edges leaving 1 edge un-glued. This forms a little pouch that the coin can be hidden in, until you need to produce it to sneak it in the slit of the can.

There you have it - sorry everyone for giving the game away

In my defense I'll just add - you really are better off buying the DVD 'cos my explanation makes it sound quite clumsy and awkward to do. It's not difficult to do, especially when it's shown on the DVD from several angles etc. Go buy it and find out for yourself

Can you help, I keep spilling the drink whist cutting the hole. I'm using a Dremel multi tool with the tin saw attachment that B&Q are stocking especially for this purpose.

Any help appreciated.

I'm a bit miffed that you have actually given in and revealed how to do Criss Angel Coin in Soda trick. I spent my hard earned money on this effect and now loads of people can get it for free!

And I thought moonbeam was one of the good guys as well!

You're using the right equipment - I just hope you've got the can turned upside down when you're cutting the hole
The trick to re-sealing it is, when using the glue (you'll know what type to use if you've got the DVD), only apply the glue to one of the surfaces to be bonded. I found this out through trial and error 'cos if you apply the glue to both edges of the metal, it doesn't tend to seal properly and you usually end up with leakages

Hope this helps

Hey guys, I know I shouldn't be fishing for clues but I just want to know the answer to a question before I buy...

Can I use blue-tac instead of glue?

U can try but I wouldn't recommend it.
It specifically states in the DVD what type of glue to use (I can't tell u what type, for fear of exposure and ..... well ...... u know me - I'm not the kinda person to reveal secrets  )

good luck

Of course I've got the can upside down. What do you think I am, stupid?

I'm using the right glue but perhaps I'm not using enough? It says about half of a tube per application on the DVD but perhaps I'l squeeze a bit more out. Problem is that I'm tempted to start glue sniffing but worried that once I start, I may stick to it.
